Stores Supervisor in Walthamstow

This role will be working for what we call our "Partnering" division. They work with local councils and housing associations to supply them with all the building materials they need to ensure their customer's homes are repaired and refurbished to a high standard. This means you'll be working with one large customer so will get an opportunity to know them really well.

The role of a Stores Supervisor

You will be the face of Buildbase to the customer and will make sure the branch is kept tidy and well-stocked. You will be working as part of a small team and will make sure you're all giving a reliable and dependable service! You will need to exceed our customer's expectations in terms of the efficiency of the service we provide.

Walthamstow branch is within walking distance of a number of Overground stations including Walthamstow Queen's Road & Walthamstow Central Station.

What we do

What we do is really simple, we sell building materials to the trade and public. We’re a ‘roll your sleeves up’ business with a can-do attitude and we take pride in serving our local tradespeople and communities. You would be responsible for working alongside one of our Partners, making sure that their expectations are not just met but exceeded.

What you'll need

You will be a knowledgeable and friendly individual who can provide dependable service whilst at the same time optimising branch sales and gross profit. We need an individual who can use their initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers, maximising profitable sales and margin.
