The role of an Operations Manager

The main responsibility of this role will be to support the Branch Manager in growing sales whilst delivering excellent customer service. The role is ideal for an ambitious individual who is looking to develop their career and is willing to get stuck in with all aspects of the day to day running of the branch. Previous experience within a Builders Merchants would be an advantage, however, training can be provided for the right candidate. 

As an Operations Manager, you will need to take a holistic approach to this role, being able to manage multiple tasks at any given time. For example, you will have responsibility and influence over Health and Safety within the branch, Audit, Stock & Order processing, as well as being able to drive sales on the counter when needed with excellent customer service skills. This is a fantastic role for an individual who loves to 'Get Stuck In!'
