The role of Transport Manager / Relief Driver

The Transport Manager reports directly to the Branch Manager and is responsible for getting the correct quantities of products to their required location within the given time limit and as a result must effectively organise and manage a team of drivers and vehicles. You will need to have previous experience managing a team as you will be their first point of contact should a problem arise. As a relief driver, you will need to be able to drive company vehicles from HGV/LGV to a long wheelbased van as and when required.

What we’re doing about COVID-19

  • Social distancing in place in all of our branches, including guidance during customer meetings
